GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN ORANG TUA TENTANG KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA ANAK TK SUMBER REJEKI MAKASSAR

Abstract

The problem in this research is the high percentage of caries rates in Sember Rejeki Kindergarten children in Makassar . This study aims to determine parents' knowledge about maintaining dental and oral health in Sumber Rejeki Makassar Kindergarten children in 2023, which includes knowledge about the meaning of dental caries, knowledge about the causes of dental caries, knowledge about the consequences of dental caries, knowledge about preventing dental caries, and knowledge about dental caries treatment. This type of research is descriptive research with a total of 41 respondents. Data collection method by filling out a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is by recapitulating the results of the data that has been collected, then calculating the data for each parent of the student, then the results of the calculations are presented in table form and then presented. The research results show that parents' knowledge about dental and oral health is in the Good category.
