Hubungan Kemampuan Empati Dengan Perilaku Cyberbullying Pada Remaja

Abstract
Cyberbullying often occurs among teenagers, especially those who are still in schools such as high school. Teenagers do cyberbullying even more intensely and almost every time they surf on social networks. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between empathy abilities and cyberbullying behavior in adolescents. The research method used by researchers is correlational analysis with a cross sectional design. The population is all students of Dewantara Husada Health Vocational School majoring in Nursing levels 1,2 and 3 as many as 85 people. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling, so the sample in this research is 85 respondents. Statistical data analysis used the Chisquare test. The instruments used in the research were the Interpersonal Reactivity Index and the Revised Cyberbullying Inventory. The research results showed that there was a low level of empathy for respondents with high cyberbullying behavior, 22 people, 8 people with moderate cyberbullying behavior and 7 people with low cyberbullying behavior. The significance value of the p value is 0.003, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between empathy abilities and cyberbullying behavior in adolescents.
