Penyuluhan Kesehatan Tentang Pentingnya Imunisasi MR (Measles Rubela) di Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi Kota Makassar

Every year more than 1.4 million children in the world die of various diseases that can be prevented by immunization. Measles and rubella diseases are caused by Paramyxovirus-type virus. Transmission can occur through air that has been contaminated by the droplet (saliva) of the infected person. Measles and rubella disease can lead to serious complications, including blindness, encephalitis, severe diarrhea, ear infections and pneumonia. Objectives after the counseling, is expected to increase knowledge about the importance of immunization MR in the Health Service Center Kassi-Kassi. The activities are carried out in the form of counseling using leaflets and sheets. There is an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women and mothers who emigated babies at Health Service Center Kassi-Kassi. Thus, giving counseling on the importance of immunisation in Health Service Center Kassi Kassi is very effective.
