Penyuluhan Kesehatan Gigi Dengan Menggunakan Media Gambar Dan Pelaksanaan Sikat Gigi Bersama Di SD Pertiwi Makassar

Abstract

Many elementary school children do not understand the correct way to care for and brush their teeth due to lack of knowledge. The geographical and economic conditions of the population are less exposed to information and there are no facilities for brushing teeth. Health education is an educational activity carried out by spreading messages, instilling confidence, so that people are not only aware, know and understand, but are also willing and able to carry out recommendations related to health. Image media is one of the media used as support to improve student learning outcomes. Image media has a very good influence in improving student learning outcomes. This is because the use of image media in the learning process can attract students' attention so that students are more serious in paying attention to the teacher's explanations. This community service is carried out through education and toothbrushing activities which aim to provide an overview of children's knowledge about dental and oral health through drawing media for students in the Pertiwi Elementary School class in Makassar.
