Many people still don't understand the procedure of tooth extraction and its risks. The act of tooth extraction on a patient carries the risk of disability and even death, for this reason the dentist must carry out an anamnesis and informed consent first until the patient really understands everything about the risks of tooth extraction. Education about informed consent and the risks of tooth extraction to the public is very necessary to avoid medical disputes in dental health services. The educational method used was direct interactive counseling to the Libureng Village community and distribution of leaflets about informed consent for tooth extraction. Community service activities in Libureng Village ran smoothly and were attended by 87 participants. The Libureng Village community's understanding of tooth extraction and information has increased.
