The family dental nursing care series is aimed at helping to solve dental health problems in the family. This community service aims to know the family's dental nursing upbringing by behavior, dental health status of the child and caries index. The community service method was conducted with interviews and examinations with the number of 23 pupils in the fifth grade of SDN Center 1 Takalar together with their parents. The results of preliminary or pre-measures of community service showed no difference in the average values of knowledge, attitudes, actions of the child and his parents as well as the child's dental hygiene status (child's OHIS status) and the child's dental caries status (child's DMF-T status). After family dental nursing care, there is a difference in the average values of knowledge, attitudes, actions of the child and his parents as well as the child's dental hygiene status (Child OHIS status) and the child's dental caries status (Child DMF-T status). The essence of community service is that there is a change in the knowledge, attitude, actions of the child and his parents as well as the OHIS status and DFM-T status of the child, which becomes better with the presence of family dental care.
