Peran Perawat dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran tentang Pentingnya Imunisasi pada Orang Tua Bayi

Background: Immunization is an effort to provide immunity to babies and children by inserting vaccines into the body to make antibodies to prevent certain diseases. Vaccines are materials used to stimulate the formation of anti-substances which are inserted into the body through injections such as BCG, DPT, Hepatitis B, Measles vaccines and by mouth such as polio. The aim of this research is to determine the role of nurses in increasing the importance of immunization for parents of babies. Method: This type of research is descriptive research, namely a research method carried out with the main aim of creating a picture or description. The population in this study were parents who had babies in the working area of the Katobengke Community Health Center, with a population of 36. The sample in this study was 46 parents who had babies using a total sampling technique. Results: The results of the research showed that 22 (61.1%) respondents said that the role of nurses was good in making efforts to increase the importance of immunization, but 14 (38.9%) respondents said that the role of nurses was still not good in making efforts to increase the importance of immunization. Conclusion: it is known that as many as 22 (61.1%) respondents said that the role of nurses was good in making efforts to increase the importance of immunization, but there were 14 (38.9%) respondents who said that the role of nurses was still not good in making efforts to increase the importance of immunization.
